They have to progress and regain what was their humanity. The present will focus on evolution during the journey. They would show how different their ideologies are and how they manage to cope during their travels. After all, the Bilusaludo and Exif had been travelling in space for what can be a long period of time. It's an opportunity to detail the negative side affects of cabin fever. The past will detail I would like to describe as the devolution of society.

The movie will continue but will show flashbacks which will provide some insight what happened and what made the characters do what they did. Hence, there are two different time frames, one in the past where the Aratrum struggles to survive in space and the present with the mission on Earth and destroy Godzilla. Both the future Earth and the Aratrum have a lot of ideas that needed to be explored upon allowing for character development. Now, this is where the story takes a more interesting turn. It got so bad that Daichi had to dragged him. Haruo sees this and screams for his father and mother.
Godzilla fired at one of the shuttles which crashed and exploded presumably killing Akira and Haruka Sakaki. Daichi calms the scared boy that his parents are coming. Haruo was walking besides Daichi as they were going into the Aratrum. We now see Haruo's POV when he saw Godzilla and his parents' presumed deaths. The movie starts with a short prologue focusing on the ending of Monster Apocalypse. Godzilla unites the Kaiju and cause humanity to flee into space. The brief summary is that Planet of the Monsters(now called Monster Apocalypse) follows the events of the Kaiju War. I'll leave a link before the next story I'm going to fix.
